What We Need Is aRemedy for the Crises. Now We Have One.
aRemedy is a worldwide movement of compassionate sensible people,
forging a society that nurtures the wellbeing of humanity and of our planet.
We will replace unnecessary suffering with joy, servitude with freedom, deprivation with enough, and drudgery with learning, art and wonder. Focused on building a community-based civilization, we will end the old evil one with neglect. We will change the world.
The initial actions will be taken by individuals, taking direct steps to make their neighborhoods into self-supporting increasingly autonomous communities. We will grow and share food, provide for those who are homeless and hungry. We will be companions to the lonely, and guardians of those who live in fear. We will refuse to cooperate with evil individuals, businesses, governments and systems. The neighborhood pioneers will engage with others, and soon neighbors will be working together in common cause.
People will provide directly for themselves and each other, producing and sharing enough to meet human needs. The old ways, with our dependence on money and jobs—let's call it what it is—lifetimes wasted in servitude will be unnecessary. We will produce only to satisfy human needs: food, medicine, shelter and the like, and not much more. We will work much much less (and never for profit or abusive elites), giving up extra stuff in exchange for lifetimes of freedom. We will never again be mere Human Resources; we choose to be fully human beings.
By slashing production we will sharply reduce CO2 emissions and other toxins very quickly, and give ourselves the opportunity to heal our grievously damaged Earth.
The human condition inherently has some sadness—we will still get ill and we will still die. But unnecessary suffering will be minimized and the best of life will, at last, be a common universal experience. We start now, and will persist forever.

All work costs us in time and damage to the Earth. We will minimize both to provide everyone with more time to live and to heal the Earth. We will settle for less stuff in exchange for more life.
DOING SOMETHING BETTER
We will neglect the cruel destructive systems and leaders of today, and instead forge resilient morally-grounded neighborhoods. We will end servitude, produce less and live more.
The neighborhood, local communities, are the backbone of the future civilization.
Power will be delegated up, and removed by The People at will.
It will truly be government by, of and for The People.
