The Fascist States of America

It's happened. We all saw it coming.

Maybe we were hoping that politicians or courts or SOMEONE would save us. But nobody did. We didn't even see any serious efforts by authorities or influential people or institutions.

Corporations, politicians, courts occasionally made noises, but then quietly submitted to fear or greed—or complicity. There is, was and will only ever be ONE force to challenge the destruction of liberty, and the brutal regime attempting to rule by violence and fear.

WE THE PEOPLE.

Now, it may look like we've lost. But the truth is, although we were fighting all along, we were fighting mosty to wake up the forces that were supposed to serve us and save us; the various institutions that were designed as checks and balances on tyranny. Every single one failed: the media, the courts, politicians. ALL of them.

It doesn't really matter if they failed because they were weak, or cowardly, or complicit. The important fact is, it is OUR responsiblity, We The People, to oust the tyrant, establish justice and replace this sick violent civilization—because the crisis goes beyond the current regime. Yes, every nation on Earth is failing. It's failing The People, who's lives are getting steadily worse; it's failing the planet by accelerating climate collapse and the current Great Extinction; it's failling morally at the most funadmental level.

We The People want, demand and will ONLY support a benevolent civilization, one that cares for all people and the species that share this Earth with us. We want a future for our children and for their children. We want an end to servitude—the useless, senseless lifetimes of labor that people eveywhere lead to serve a morally bankrupt and selfish tiny band of undeserving elites.

It's hard for us to see beyond the current crisis. But the truth is, WE WILL END THE REGIME and we need to ensure that what comes next is a genuinely benevolent and caring and humane society.

First, Ending The Fascist Regime

We must NOW realize that NOBODY will save us. This is OUR job. If anyone comes to our aid along the way—and many will once they see WE are winning—that's fine but really not our focus.

We must use the UNBEATABLE power that we have to cripple the fascist regime, bring the criminals to justice and innoculate ourselves against any would be future tyrants. We must decrease and ultimately end our cooperation, our obedience, and phase out providing labor and money to the fascists.

We will deny them bathrooms, food, medical care. While they are actively killing us, we will aggressively let them die. If you know history (and our civilization certainly hopes you don't!), you realize that noncooperation destroys tyrants. Supporters defect when they see bold and determined disobedience. The "powerful" suddenly realize they are outnumbered, and that their victims produce all the food, all the medicine, all the weapons. We The People produce everything, making the regime 100% dependent on our cooperation.

They've had our cooperation for two reasons:

1. We believed the system of representative government was damaged but still functioning and could be rescued, and
2. We were afraid.

Today, we are realizing that representative government (which was already mostly controlled by plutocrats) is dead. There is fascism and no other functioning system.

And fear? We feel some fear, but our fear has been overwhelmed by fury. We The People are not cowards. We don't hide behind masks and lies. We boldly face our armed oppressors and laugh at the fascist lies. We know that Good and Pretti are heroes and that ICE are violent losers destined for hanging.

With our eyes opening and filled with justifiable anger, we are just now getting started.

But we might not be able to pull that off. Fortunately, there is an easier unstoppable path to victory.

We can (and I believe will) defeat fascism with thousands of relentless small acts.

1. We will seize the narrative and make it common wisdom that the regime is illegitimate—a tyrant ruling by force, not consent. We will do this by posting signs and distributing flyers in the physical world, by talking with others, by expressing this in infinite ways in every medium. Anyone can do this easily, with little risk, anonymously if desired. This seems superfluous but it is VERY important. It sets arguing aside and make action the focus.
2. We wll weaken the regime through noncooperation. They need us. If you or anyone you know (or have influence on) does ANYTHING that helps the fascists, ask that person to stop, or "make mistakes." Some of us (who are bold and prepared for risk) may delay paying taxes or not pay them at all. We will close our businesses to ICE and to other savages supporting the regime.
3. We will strengthen our communities with radical kindness to our neighbors and especially to immigrants—documented or not—who live in our communities. The regime will try to make life difficult for us and we will take advantage of this to bring us closer together.

These are not new principles or something I've invented. These are well-worn tried and true strategies used for successful nonviolent People's Revolutions for many, many decades. They work because they play to our strengths and to our opponent's weakness.

We produce everything. The regime produces nothing and actually DOES nothing. They have some very stupid stooges to commit violent acts for them. They have 12,000 ICE agents to deploy on the streets. But there's 150+ million of us!

But perhaps the biggest advantage we have is moral force. This is the single most underestimated power that The People have at their disposal. Why would that matter? Our opponents are not constrained by morality. They only care about power and wealth and themselves.

But morality is what powers unstoppable movements. The more evil the fascists commit, the angrier The People become and the movement grows in both size and intensity until we win. That is the endgame.

In the meantime, think about easy things you can do, perhaps, daily, as part of your routine. Putting up anti-fascists signs, especially provacative ones, is my personal favorite. Find YOUR favorite!

Also, take a look at the Declaration of Moral Law, which is far more deadly to fascists than any possible declaration of martial law by the tyrant would be to us.
